The Wellington Wind Symphony’s concert season runs from fall to spring each year. For the 2018-19 season we will be presenting one performance only of each of our four concert programs. All four concerts are at Knox Presbyterian Church in Waterloo.

Wind Symphony Whimsy

Stephen Fox, Alto Clarinet Stephen Fox, Alto Clarinet Daniel Warren, Conductor Containing some of the most memorable music for the medium, all in this program was written originally for wind symphony: Howard Cable's Scottish Rhapsody, Holst's Second Suite for Military Band, Alfred Reed's Othello, Symphonic Portrait for Concert Band, William Schuman's New England Triptych, and our own Michael Purves-Smith's The Seven Deadly Sins, featuring soloist Stephen Fox on an alto clarinet which he built himself.
