Just the word “jazz” conjures up excitement! The Wellington Wind Symphony swings! In this delightful concert, Chick Corea’s Spain, Oscar Peterson’s Place St. Henri, and the music of Woody Herman will be featured. Then there is all the music inspired by jazz, including Leonard Bernstein’s Symphonic Dances from West Side Story and Darius Milhaud’s The Creation of the World.
